Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How does a neuromuscular massage therapist differ from a “regular” massage therapistaist?
A: The main difference between a Neuromuscular Massage Therapist and a regular Certified Massage Therapist is training.  Most Massage Therapists start off with the knowledge of core principles and basic massage techniques.  Neuromuscular Massage Therapists have taken further training and are able to assess, treat, and prevent soft tissue injuries and chronic pain by using more advanced techniques that are more efficient and less painful.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?

A: We require a 50% deposit and credit card on file at the time of booking. Deposit may be refunded if canceling before 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.

If you are a member, any no shows or cancellations made with-in 24 hours of your appointment will result in a deduction of services that month. Alternatively, we may charge the $20 cancellation/rescheduling fee.

Q: When is it safe to receive a Prenatal or Pregnancy massage?

A: If you are unsure, always double check with your primary care physician or OB/GYN. Normally it is safe to receive a massage once you are out of the first trimester.
